Focus on Woman’s Missionary Union

WMU equips all believers to live their lives in unshakable pursuit — to know God more, to show His love unconditionally and to make disciples who make disciples.

WMU, in its 138th year, seeks to come alongside the church to accomplish the mission of God. From preschoolers to adults, WMU provides relevant resources to learn about and pray for missions, as well as opportunities to apply their knowledge and passion through giving, serving and supporting missions.

Focus on WMU Sunday is an intentional time to focus on WMU’s impact in local churches, communities and throughout the world.

WMU groups in our church:

• Mission Friends, boys and girls, ages 4 through kindergarten, meet here Wednesday evenings. Children in Action, boys and girls in grades 1-5, meet here Wednesday evenings.
• Women on Mission Prisms, ages 18 and older, discover ways God is at work in their lives and how they can become radically involved in God’s mission. The ladies minister monthly to those in substance abuse treatment at the Ramey-Estep Homes, among other activities.
• Adults on Mission: Men and women in several Bible fellowship classes emphasize prayer for missional efforts and have served at several places, including Morning Pointe, the Salvation Army and local nursing homes.
