Men
Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Ministry ministers to men through prayer, fellowship, and accountability. Their goal is to assist each man in becoming a better spiritual leader in his family. Their activities provide leadership opportunities, encouragement, and fellowship with other men, all of which are major keys in the growth process. Some of the annual events include: a men’s cookout, and a father/child Cincinnati Reds baseball game. They meet in the Family Life Center on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:00 A.M. for a prayer breakfast and fellowship (unless otherwise noted in the church bulletin). All men of the church are encouraged to participate and to bring other men from the community as well. Check out the church calendar or bulletin for dates and times of upcoming activities.
Men’s Sports Ministry
The Men’s Sports Ministry is all about providing fun and fellowship for the men at FBCR. In the winter months, basketball is the sport of choice, and in the summer months, men’s softball is offered. All men are welcome to play. And you are encouraged to bring your friends from the community, and get them involved in these church-sponsored activities. Men—it’s time to get your game on and join the team!
Ushers
These men meet, seat, and even help park the FBCR fleet— they are the Ushers. About 10-15 minutes before each service, the ushers meet with their captain and are assigned to their tasks. You will find them inside: taking up the offering during the worship service, passing out items to the congregation at the pastor’s request, finding seats for late arrivers, or helping people find specific areas in our growing church complex. You will also find them outside: holding an umbrella for people getting in and out of their cars during inclement weather, or directing cars to empty parking spaces. Men, if you would like to help with any of these important jobs, please call the church office.
